The remake of “We Are the World”  will be a landmark moment in 2010. 81 celebrity performers, jam packed the day after the Grammy’s to benefit Haiti in the wake of there country’s devastating earthquake, as well as mark the 25th anniversary of the original collaboration.

Producer Quincy Jones said “It’s no accident this happened,” of the auspicious date and important cause.

Nicole Richie tweeted “WOW. Brian Wilson stood next to me & I got to hear him sing right into my left ear. Can you say AWESOME!”

Pop singer Justin Bieber said on twitter “Singing We Are The World right now with celine dion next to me!! Everyone is here!! I’m meeting everyone!! This is insane! Ok ok chill.” He could barely keep his eyes off Nicole Scherzinger of the Pussycat Dolls.

Josh Groban commented “It’s inspired chaos,” he said. “It’s great to see so many legendary artists sweating it out and doing it until its over. To be smack dab in the middle of a sandwich between Barbra Streisand and Weezy was an experience I don’t think I’ll ever have again.”

Just looking at the pictures was hard for me to assimilate. I could not mention all the amazing Singers and actresses so check out the video.

Singer Katy Perry and guest judge on American Idol became engaged to Russell Brand but his proposal was no surprise.

She said “Unfortunately, I still Google myself sometimes, I saw it on Google alerts. I’m going to be honest!” Despite knowing Russell was going to propose, Katy was stunned when the 34-year-old comedian made his grand gesture while they were holidaying in India. Russell disclosed “There was an elephant involved. We were on an elephant just before it. We were in India, It was at midnight, and it is not a good idea to be on the back of an elephant during a fireworks display.”

Katy also mentioned “They can’t tell the difference between an apocalypse and New Year’s Eve.”

I was not going to mention the fashion hit or misses because every blog has done it. So I decided to mention a few.

My first favorite of the evening was Rihanna in a stunning feathered, open-backed gown by Elie Saab.

My second Fave was Lea Michele in Romona Keveza mini asymmetrical shredded skirt ensemble.

No one does it like Lady GaGa in the Most dramatic corset dress, encrusted in Swarovski crystals by Giorgio Armani Privé.

Mary J blige was boring in my opinion wearing a  fuschia Gucci gown ( it’s the Grammy’s for goodness sakes). She added some bling with teardrop earrings, and a dazzling Lorraine Schwartz cuff.

Songtress/Actress Jennifer Lopez had a shoot for ELLE’s cover shoot in NYC and apparently fell head over heels for the tough biker chick wardrobe they had set up for her—inspired by Charlotte Rampling’s look in Liliana Cavani’s provocative 1974 film The Night Porter. As cuts from her new album Love? blasted in the background Elle says ” husband Marc Anthony made a surprise visit to kiss his wife, proving love was—quite literally—everywhere.”

Personally I think  J-Lo is trying extreamly hard to bring her old image back after settling down with Mark Anthony and having twins. Jumping around stage at her age is out (kidding), now what’s in is, two stepping…

The biannual title, on sale from Monday next week, contains a 40-page shoot featuring the supermodels and has even printed their individual measurements (eyebrow raise).

If you pick up the issues of your faves, Naomi looks HOT at her age and without a stitch of clothing looks better than her younger counterparts. Kate Moss has legs that go on for days seeing as though she’s only 5′7.
